I started at six, love poems, finding interests in various fields, pertained to writing: currently, age 69, still its slave. You got the fight, needing now to battle the forces, that'll deny: find your victory.

I absolutely love this and it's a virtual six from me! The image and quote are stunning and your fine words reflect the force of those words. It's so concise and sincere and that second verse - wow, I've got to keep on reading it. It spurs you on into more of your upbeat and joyful perspective on life. I was a bit perplexed by the second line of the last stanza and would have preferred the flow to be maintained by "(to) become inspired (by) myself" But a great mantra and strong contender! bring them down...to a point of depression...
you have to walk away from those people...
let them know you are somebody...that they
will never still your worth...I am who I am...
and I can live with that...
