'Mr. Sandman, Bring me a dream,' that is all I know about 'The Sandman'. Once again, my education fails me. But I did enjoy reading this poem and the entire presentation. Thank you for sharing.

I love comic books and graphic novels. I have heard of the sandman but only in passing. I will have to look him up. Very personal with this poem. How he leaves her and she feels his distance. Beautifully written. Gretchen

I don't read a lot of comics but the Sandman and the Swamp thing are my favorite. They are well written. The sandman is a very mysterious character. There's a Netflix series of the sandman, I only watched a couple of shows. It was hard to follow. I like her sister, Delirious... she is fun but very manic. I have written a few poems about them.

What a poetic way to describe the lack of sleep. Insomnia is awful but it would be also a time for creativity even though the tired mind isn't the best at formulating words.
