That's quite the metaphor to feel "kinship with the cat in heat outside." I like the use of alliteration and assonance in the poem. Lots of fun with the colorful fonts!

The cat finds his food outside the woman inside but both share the same yearnings. I run out of syllables to say everything I wanted. Originally I had tuna instead of breakfast... maybe I should change it.

One of my boys spent the night outside last night. LOL He was at the door this morning, waiting to come inside. He's been neutered so I'm pretty sure I know what he wasn't doing. LOL I enjoyed reading. The artwork is beautiful.
