This was a beautiful haiku, Gypsy. The picture was rather creative, it was projecting her amber eyes. Your words were equally creative because it showed the golden dusk settling in her eyes. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!!

Beautifully illustrated. I have met a few people with "amber eyes" and they are usually very cosmopolitan with a mix of many different races. Loved the way you play with the light in your poems.

My daughter has amber eyes...they are beautiful. Angelica got blue gray eyes, and my son dark brown..they all have beautiful eyes.

those eyes, they're looking into me. Just as if they are looking into my soul and it's hard to focus on getting to the poem... I'm trying to look down.
Your stunning presentation and composition had my mind stimulated... you know me, always on the hunt for the deeper meaning.
I think for me, the play on the 'end of the day' and the 'dusk descends'. Both have that spiraling sensation of cause and fits in so beautifully with the eyes, the windows to the soul. You have painted the combination of your image and matched them to your words so deftly.
I don't want to go dark in thought, especially when it's the beauty that holds you still.
This is stunning!

Thank you very much, James. My youngest daughter, Micaela, has hazel amber eyes. My oldest, angel, has grey blue eyes.

Micaela has hazel-amber eye colour, how amazing. They must be breathtaking... and your oldest angel has grey-blue... yeah mine also at times, depending on my mood I think... mine change different shades of blue... and yes please, I'll take that ride. A carpet to the aquamarine sea-perfect!

Yes, it makes me feel good... more connected, as if maybe we have been here before. Our energetic circle revisiting,just from the other side of the world this time. No matter how or why, I'm just blessed that it is.
