Yeah, our birthdays are only ten days apart. Tomorrow is finally the reunion that I have been talking about forever, so I will send you some of my tributes unless you want to wait until I am done with yours on the 29th. That is very kind of you Jake, to think of me too, and I bet you will do a great job. I will be in touch after I recoup from tomorrow. My birthday is the 19th and thanks for this fun review.

well, I think he looks pretty silly, too - HOWEVER - whoever thought that thing up is probably cashing in on a nifty idea! Just think, if kids wore it on Halloween with a T-shirt with an American flag or some other patriotic thing, wouldn't that be neat! Or if parents opening the door to Halloweeners wore one, how fun would that be.
Am tempted to get one. ha!

Thanks so much Ben, for the kind words. We should know soon how it will turn out as the contest will be ending soon. And yes, I do happen to agree with you. In fact where I come from our governor is inviting adolescents into our state to have their gender change and abortions, and we don't have to even notify the parents, he says. Never have I ever been so ashamed to be part of the state I live in.

Methinks, you need to change your squiggle choice. From my view it appears to be wrongly placed - it should be centered on the last letter in your first line.
MHO Poking fun at both political parties is a good use of this Senryu format.

Hi Mark, so I had it in the right place, just used the wrong font to go with the squiggle, then it puts it too high. However, I just change the font and it all went into place. I thank you for your kind comments and for your feedback, Mark.

would now add a space before your correctly aligned squiggle - the type font chosen and punctuation squiggle run together
