This poem touched my heart. I have often wondered why or how God allows innocent children to suffer. It doesn't make sense to me. It's one of God's many mysteries. Your presentation was beautiful.

like the googly eyes on the mask lol -- a sad, thought-provoking katauta with a cute pic, good imagery, and smooth flow -- nice.

Man, this was heavy. As you know I work at a pharmacy. I see people pulling their oxygen tanks behind them several times per week. Thankfully, I haven't seen any children with one. This poem awesome me stop and thank God that my children are all healthy and to send up a prayer those children who are less fortunate. Gretchen

Yes, I thank God all my children are healthy. I hate it when I see a little kid sick.

A wonderful read, it must be so hard for the child and the parents to see their little girl like the moth, but different, one jar is saving a life, very well written and presented****kahpot

This is a good comparison of what we do to care for life. Even the moth's life has value. But if a family is caring for a child whose health is in crisis, pets tend to get less attention.

Hi MariVal,
If only the moth was prized as much as the sick child?
This is one of your poems, this one a Katauta... that lingers, demands the reader to reassess all angles to the correlation of the moth and the sick child... I guess only one has received the life line required, while the other waits for a certain lingering death. It makes me think of the disparity across the globe in concerns with health care and the way it's handed out to some, and out of reach to others, especially children.
Beautiful work... really motivates the power of after-thought!
With our thoughts we create...
oxygenated inquiry.
Warmest regards,
James.
