I found this quite interesting... I have always felt that i am not writing... that someone on my shoulder is doing the writing... and, I do mean always... even as a child.
I really love the idea of the The Blue nNude inspiring you to write this lovely piece.

For some broken vessels all that it takes is an opportunity to see themselves as whole individuals, beautiful to look upon, capable of bringing the joy of discovery to those blessed enough to see them.
I found this piece very inspiring.

I enjoyed this very much. It was interesting as how you structure as a real-life model coming in and in particular how she lets her mind wander as the poses. Great flow and pace. Bill

An interesting poem that teaches us about your viewpoint on an artwork by Henri Matisse.
You looked deeply into the picture and tried to get into his head and heart..an interesting technique using paper to paint when he had surgery.
Take care,
Rhonda

As I've often said, when it comes to poetry, I wouldn't know a sonnet from sorbet. But every once in a while, I like to venture off to read and try deciphering a few verses. Thanks for sharing.

Good picture. I myself can not draw a straight line.
My artistry is here with words, Here, yours are lovely filled with a love of art and Matisse in particular. Your deep feeling is evident in your language. Good work.

A beautiful free verse, wonderfully descriptive and I would say you succeeded quite well in painting the picture of the artist and model as he created his painting. I didn't need the author notes to see what you were striving for. Well done.

I like that you gave life to the woman in the picture by Matisse. You gave her a personality, a fragile temperament that needs healing, and the artist gives her a reason to go on. I appreciate your notes. Nicely done. Blessings. Carol

You go Romeo, emotional views, sweeping ideals, gripping and touching to the inner spirit. Can't be all right, those expressed account. But, this is in my opinion prevailing this work.
