Hi MariVal,
so, here's the truth: there are not too many poems you post that do not deserve a gold star attached to them. This heart-smacking Kojiki poem is certainly one of them. As you fully know with such a volume of posts on a daily basis, I have to chose... which btw, it an unfair duty and hard thing to have to do.
This poem slaps you in the face with such a reality and authenticity of which we both know only too well. It just echoes it's lost hope and sadness.
Although so heartbreaking at the thought of... it is such a beautifully poetic surrender in the world of depression.
I know I use 'stunning' a lot, maybe too much, but if you can describe my feeling for your work, then please enlighten me with your sage... both ways... I could also be in need of a good cleansing:))
I could use words such as splendid, extraordinary, staggering... outstanding, but stunning is what I feel. You art is exemplary in all its forms.
With our thoughts we create...
a halt to the pain.
Warmest regards,
James.

Yeah, no worries, I don't need sixes or superlative adjectives, although they are nice, the only important thing for me is that you read them.
I was feeling down when I wrote this and remembered the last chronic depression and anxiety episode in 2016-17 that ended up in the hospital. I can conjure up the emotions and memories easily. Maybe I helped somebody to know that it does get better.
Thank you very much, my friend. You have no idea how much your reviews mean to me, as well as our friendship.
Warmest regards
Marival

I would not text if I was thinking about committing suicide but that's just me.
Thank you very much for your excellent review and kind words.

There is so much said in so few words. We don't know why she is contemplating suicide, but there is a call that isn't coming. Her heart has been broken in some way. Only God knows or cares, or so she feels.

Thank you very much for reading and reviewing my poem. I'm bipolar and I have had bad depression episodes but I'm taking medication now and I haven't had one for a long time.

I'm so glad the medication is helping. You bring so much to FS. We need you.

This one could have been a poem about someone who has captured your heart but I sensed it was about someone who was captive of depression. The confessional of the bed, you and God alone. The pills, waiting to be used or alone. Gretchen
