Which one in the picture is you? You are quite correct. a problem shared with a friend is lessened, even if only briefly. And sometimes that alone can get you over the hump. I haven't been here long, but in my short time here I have made some very good friends.
I have learned a lot. Especially about poetry. Who knew there were so many kinds? Good work.

The oldest kid in the family tough job. I was the middle kid. When we write we put our guts out there at times. You were brave with your choices.
Never let others opinions be the only thing that tells you who you are. You already stand tall, hahahaha You have the gift, and you can use it in many ways. perhaps what you write here will uplift someone's bad day. you never always know how you touch people. Perhaps something you write gives someone the courage to leave a bad situation. I think we are all here on planet earth to learn, grow, and teach. Things we say and do are important. But never let something a dimwit says define you , even me. opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. You are valuable. You are important. you are loved, you are beautiful, and you are enough just the way you are.

Thank you, Karen. I have been so busy lately I haven't been able to respond. It is encouraging to know that we can affect others in a good way even when we might not know it.
