A lovely prayer of thanksgiving which is just right for a poem of gratitude. Great use of rhyme and assonance and a refrain of thanks to the Lord. Best wishes in the contest!

Thank you. I think this one is in my new book. I do love nature as God presents it and am grateful for it. (It came in second in the contest, which had very few entrants.

The author's words are filled with gratitude and thanks for the gifts God has given us in nature. This poem was wonderful to read. And I felt the joy through these words of the beauty that nature gives. The poem flows and connects well. The artwork is awesome and compliments this poem well. Great Poem!

This is an excellent poem, which the ballad, in the same meter as amazing grace has brought before a grateful people, so is your song, could simply be put to music, with the refrain tacked on, well done, good luck, blessings Roy
Suggestion : A(nd) heart filled with gratitude.

We need to show more gratitude for the world under our feet and over our heads. We have so much damage that it leaves one to wonder if we can ever repair the damage.

Beautifully done. Lovely rhythm and rhyme make for a great hymn of praise. This could easily be set to music and sung in church. Thank you for sharing this with us.
