I loved that part, "No animals were harmed in the writing of this poem". It is hysterical! The poem is wild, wonderful and full of joy, I imagine at the time you were also a little scared. Did you ever see that critter again? Karen

That picture scared me a bit. The unknown is what scares us, and we don't know much about moles. A flashlight would have done the trick. In bright light they are blind. If you ever see a mole again, you will know! Forewarned is forearmed! Karen

Wow! He does appear to be agitated. I think they're the ugliest creatures on the planet. They are so ugly, they are cute.
That being said, I wouldn't try to pet one.

A great take on this theme. Well done. Really enjoyable verse, suitable for children, of course. The rhyme and rhythm are assured and unforced and this trips along in a most entertaining manner. Well done and good luck.
