To think, this is a true story. So many unbelievable things happened. First, you met a new pastor with a big heart who immediately wanted to help Chris and Kathy. But then, he left the church and wanted them to follow him. He also wanted their children.

You did an excellent job presenting the mystery and suspense of this story. Even though, in life, you never know what is going to happen, Christians know God will prevail. I look forward to the next chapter.

Notes:
They find each other and together fight to keep one family in crisis toget (together)
I introduced myself as a having moved back (remove 'a')
There even pushing papers on Chris and myself to sign (They're even)

This is a very tragic story that you told him about Kathi and Chris and their children. I enjoyed listening to it very much at first I was admiring pastor, Bradford for what he was choosing to do to help the family, but then it kind of soured on me, that he wanted to try to take the children away before the mother and her father had decided that they would like the children go. Very nicely written. Patricia.

Thanks so much. Our next pastor shows two different sides as well. But the next one has stayed now for over 30 years!

Oh wow, what an amazing story. You have certainly been through some interesting battles, my friend. This one with the young couple and their children may have been one of your most touching. You and your wife went so far out of your comfort zones to reach this family. Poor Kathy. She tried to hard. I know that had to be terrible to see the kids taken away from where you could help them, but there is hope at the end.

Take care,
Rhonda

I have a feeling that the knock on the door is Chris or at a minimum some information on the children. I am enjoying the story. Thank you for sharing it with us.

The next day after I was at the (The following day)

Mary must have looked stunned when she spoke. "It seems they are getting ahead of the curve here."

Kathy chimed in. "I just don't know if it's a good fit, I mean you and Tom are much younger, and your kids are around the same age." (both 'spoke' and 'in' need commas after the words)

This is a sad story of parents with AIDS. I can understand the mothers feeling and it would seem if the husband wanted to be able to keep his children he might have found the strength to give up the drugs. I know addiction has a strong hold that is hard to break. I'm anxious to find out what the knock on the door is all about. Beautifully written.

This was a tough one to read. Life is tough. The only thing that will make a difference in our lives is the abiding presence of Jesus Christ, for ourselves and for others. Way to hang in there, my friend. You are your wife are really special. Sending you my best today as always.

Thanks for all. I guess I'm making my wife and I look like saints, when we are sinners saved by grace. Appreciate the kind words.

Whatever happens and the way we view things and try to work out which way to go, and ghos it all pans out, is not the way God may take you in, but remember His ways and wisdom are perfect. This is deeply moving Stan, well done, blessings Roy
Typo : (Ther) even pushing papers. They're?

I said it then and will again. I think one of the greatest miracles I have ever witnessed was bringing a family together and stopping a divorce. The kids were all happy again and God provided their needs. I see nothing wrong with your story. Very touching.

Oh no! That's the hard thing about churches - the interpersonal politics. That pastor seemed to have good intentions but why would he push to adopt the kids? He didn't pray with you first before flying into action. And why would he suddenly leave? Apparently, other church members were not happy with him.

Anyway, it's good that Mary and Kathy became close. I guess you will tell us more about what happened.

breach the subject with my wife and confide in her (broach?)
There even pushing papers (They're)
Afterall we were new on the scene (After all,)
