What a beautiful picture of the baby bird leaving the nest, it almost looks like the mother is encouraging a leg, Gypsy. What a wonderful haiku? It is a shame that the mother instructs the baby bird. Great modern haiku. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

I love the picture. It appears mama is giving one swift kick!
I enjoyed this Haiku. We spent our summer walking seeing hatchling of ducks, swans and geese trying to get a head start. Unfortunately few survived. But at least we have pictures.

We get Carolina Wrens that nest in our eaves and under our porch. I have had to pick up Littles before to put them back in their nest. I do let them try for a while. This was a wonderful poem. Gretchen

That picture made me smile. Sometimes, the little birdies refuse to leave the comforts of home where everything is provided. But they won't achieve anything in life if they don't go out and live independently. I like the "leap of faith" as it takes faith on the part of the hatchling and the parents with lots of prayers!
