It is such a joy to read your work. Your meaning comes through perfectly, with a kiss of wit and always, always bringing introspection! In a few more weeks we'll be seeing this!

K,
Always am thrilled with your comments about my poems. Still holding out for more Summer weather. Autumn colors can wait their turn.

Oh, I suppose... But seasonally warm would be most welcome after these ninety degree days!

This 5-7-6, The Start of Autumn, brings the color transition to the fore and sends the readers into the fall season with the orange of late autumn.

Your words accurately depicted the message in the illustration (or the other way around!) Pretty soon it'll be the leaf blower rather than lawn mower. Thank you for reminding me I'm one season older.

Jim,
The trick about your leaves - use the lawnmower to cut the grass short. Somehow, your leaves will then find the lawns that have taller grass. LOL The leaf blower is just a temporary fix (-;

Darn those lawnmowers! They certainly disturb the beautiful quiet scene of fallen leaves. A love,haiku of my favorite season. Sending you my best today as always and best wishes for the upcoming contest.
