This was me with Algebra 1 Then geometry I don't know is an entirely different language. I remember taking some standardized test or something like that. I got seven out of 100But that fortunately did not have anything to do with my mark I guess. This will definitely draw the reader in: "There is less imagined violence in my thoughts now. And, no, I'm not in love with Dougie. I just have to find out what happened to him. Dead or alive, I have to know." I was late picking two friends up and the cop said "you're late aren't you well you're going to be even later."

I feel like need to forewarn you, I have scrapped this book. The character wasn't true to who she started out as. You can continue on but there is no resolution or ending. I'm working on a new format for her. But I do thank you for this awesome review. Gretchen

So, we've got a missing person mystery going on here. Miranda is so busy looking for evidence that she loses track of time.
Looks like Miranda might have a bit of a crush on Mitch. Maybe he feels the same? At least we get a hint there might be.

Missy ,the person whom she hates ,is she in Jail?
The boy sounds cute ,not a typical teenager .The father would have some plans to leave him with her...The story is progressing very well.

VERY intriguing and fun second chapter. I love the way it starts with the day-to-day New Normal of Miranda's life with Dougie's now-lovable boy (he could be such a "teen" in the last book. But she's loved him into submission. So fabulous.) Then it veers into her new mission and, finally, mixes in the fun of her amusing, respectful relationship with Mitch.

Thank you. It's hard to write a dramatic chapter about Miranda because of her personality. Shit happens to her on a normal basis, but she just pulls on her mucking boots and walks on through it. Really happy you are here for this new adventure. Gretchen

I think I remember Miranda inherited Waylon from Dougie. They do seem to get along well. Evidently Mitch is a good-looking guy in a trooper's uniform. This chapter seems to suggest that Miranda is going to do a little detecting. Well-written and attention grabbing.
