Beautiful economy of style in this slight, free verse. You give voice to your feelings in an assured fashion, and the metaphors add to the effect. Carefully chosen words say so much. (You use 'its' right once, but wrong in line 10.)

Hi, I just realized that I accidentally didn?t thank you for your review. I corrected the error. You seem to know poetic form.and style. I?m in the final stages of puublishing a book of poetry and prose. The collection will be large enough to publish multiple books. Do you know the names of any good publishing companies?

When you go from a family of five with a large extended family of relatives and then lose all, then your wife, and end up in assisted living, you get that feeling you described. I still have my daughter and niece and I'm sure The Lord has something good for you, too. I hope many obvious blessings come your way!
