I found this a riveting piece. Does everyone really hate the USA so much? That surprised me. I thought it would have been one of the countries that is used for dumping terrestrial waste that was chosen. kay

It's an interesting story that leads the reader in one direction and then tosses in a switch at the end. The ending was unexpected and I think a unique way to end the story from the normal formulas normally employed.

This is quite an imaginative story, but that's what fantasy is all about. I liked your detailed descriptions that allow me to envision each scene. You included mystery and suspense, and left the story open-ended by never revealing what the aliens requested of the world leaders. Great artwork. Best wishes in the contest.

Thank you for the great review, LJB. I didn't actually leave it open ended though. The aliens wanted each leader to pick where they were going to dump their garbage and nearly all of them chose Washington DC. Lol. I really appreciate the generous stars and good luck wishes. Thank you for the great review and support, Doug. I don't know how any of these could have been about anything but aliens unless the obelisks were some weird form of world technology. That's an awesome idea though, a government's weapon. That didn't even cross my mind. I'll be sure to work that in for the next contest though. lol. Thank you again, my friend. You picture is intense. The Reader can borrow this line with a different voiced expression : "Every obelisk did the same thing with the exact speed and accuracy. It was incomprehensible." This is fascinating. You must have the reader's attention by now. You have this reader captivated. Very well developed.

Well, it's certainly a story. lol What an effort! Can't imagine what it takes to write something like this. This is well written and you control a fair grip on the English language. Flow is good and the ending is absurd and hilarious. It's a long way to go for a funny ending but you did it with style. Also love the pic. Hope all the time you spent on this was worth it for you. Great job!!
