Where I grew up in the Midwest, Illinois, my dad planted Kentucky Bluegrass in our yard. I was beautiful. Right now, with this drought, I'd be happy if my weeds were green. My yard is brown and crunches when walked on. We can't water because we're under water usage restrictions. However, I enjoyed reading your poem. The package was perfect.

Nice little poem. Pretty interesting picture, I never realized that bluegrass was that blue. you have never written a poem here I didn't like. So, look at my little poem "petted" and tell me what you think.

Oh I like it! You bring out the music even out of "sweet nothings" and the song of the wind playing "blue grass" in the fields. Great imagery throughout the poem!

What a fantastic haiku, Gypsy. To find out that it whispered sweet nothings was wonderful. To find that bluegrass was more decorative even added the sweet nothings to the poem. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

I used to think the wind was telling me things. I was really little and I would concentrate as hard as I could to hear whatever message it was. This was a lovely poem. Thank you for sharing. Gretchen

One can imagine the wind whispering sweet nothings, as we know the winds are God's messengers, and the fire His servants, this is beautifully written Gypsy, blessings Roy
