This is a delightful children's poem. I still can't believe how fast my kids grew up and now my granddaughter. It's so much fun seeing it though. Best of luck in the contest. :)

I think you did a great job with your childrens poem. Teaching children how to ride a bike can be a little nerve-wracking, but once they're up and off, it's all good.

I remember when my boys learned to ride their bikes. It was such a special moment. You captured it perfectly in this contest entry. As I read the entry rules, I see rhyme is necessary and it should appeal to children. I am wondering what age group your entry is aimed for. I know my first graders wouldn't be interested, but probably older children would. Good luck with the contest.

You have word painted me onto the path she travels. The use of sensory words is excellent, transporting me back in time when my kids were learning themselves.
The font choice works well as it is as delicate as a young girls heart.
