This is an excellent alliterative poem Jessica. "W" is one of the letters I was considering, and you used it to great effect. "Wistful wedded wife" just rolls off the tongue so marvelously! Well done for this challenge.

How ironic that I would vote for this one and that it would be similar to mine. Only yours is soft and sweet, romantic and flows beautifully. It should have won. But like I said you did get my vote. Wonderful job on this lovely one!
Not sure if you had heard or seen that mine had to be taken out of the contest after a glitch in the sites system put my poem in every single post ever done on FS. Kinda hard to stay anonymous that way. It was devastating to see that even the voting booth was all my poem. Anyway yours is lovely, and should not surprise me that we both picked W and also wrote about weddings.
Sorry I don't get this way much as it is hard for me to review too much after both eye surgeries were unsuccessful. I miss seeing you, but will try to get this way more often. It seems to take all my screen time when writing and answering reviews. One more thing that we have in common. The first year I came here, I finished in 6th place and look where you are!! Coincidence? I think not. We have had this connection since the minute you arrived. Anyway I miss you!
And once again. Great job on this.

After Debi's W's You were brave to try. And you succeeded masterfully. This was warmhearted, wistful, and wonderful.**********************************************************************************************************************

This is the second poem of alliteration using all 'W' words - there must be a lot of them:-)
Thinking back to my wedding day, there was warm weather, lots of wedding wishes, I word white, and I was a wistful wedded wife.
Thanks for bringing back those memories with your fine poem.
Good luck in the contest.

This is an excellent poem. I enjoyed reading it. Your entire presentation is good. You use descriptive words with W that draw in a reader with imagery.
Best wishes!

A difficult brief which you seem to have skilfully fulfilled adding flow and meaning to this alliteration. I don't think you've repeated a word and conveyed a wonderful "wedding write" with style and atmosphere. Well done and good luck! Debbie
