This is a beautiful poem expressing what many of us know to be true. The dearly departed remain in us too, as we are linked spiritually. The spirit is eternal.

Sending you my best today as always and blessings for your writing endeavors.

This is a very thoughtful and thought-provoking verse which I enjoyed reading. Despite its succinctness it speaks wisely and compellingly of unity in the divine. It questions the whole notion of individuality and therefore suggests that death doesn't divide us for we are bonded in eternity. Nicely done! Thank you for sharing your lovely poem. Debbie

You have written your poem well. I must be honest that I completely disagree with the premise of your poem. I'm an identical twin and I was drawn to helping disabled children all of my life whereas my twin was drawn to lying for a living as a public relations person making "hundreds of thousands of dollars" as she says. I didn't care how many dollars I made to help.

I'm not saying I was better what in saying is I was different and there are billions of other people whose lives prove your theory wrong. You cant help but have your own perspective though because, in fact, we are each unique. :)

Nice to meet you, Alexandra. Disagreeing is fine, I keep to what I say; it is not a theory. It is spiritual, not physical. Thank you for your review and honesty. Blessings, Cathy

An intriguing poem but I do like your intricate use of rhyme. The message is simple but your mode of delivering it is most successful. Well done.
