This is indeed a very reflective free verse with sea a metaphor for the aging process and the passing of time. I think your first and last stanza are superb but maybe the verse needed to be slightly shorter for maximum impact of your theme which, for me, became a little bit overly complex in the middle. But a fine and enjoyable verse nonetheless. Thanks for sharing. Debbie
