Wayne, I am now at a point where I do not want these stories to stop. That doesn't often happen with prose. So exciting, and now we have wheels within wheels. I love the way Ben is clearly becoming a famous character in the area, just for being who he is. Fascinating and enthralling.

Thank you. You have made my day!

You have a marvelously nimble mind, Wayne. Your use of historical characters in your fictional tales lends texture to your chapters. And through it all, Ben, slogs through new streets and new adventures and shines the light of his calling on everyone. Don't feel a need to end your novel any time soon. I can see this going on, gaining steam, without an inner dynamic winding it down.

Thank you. I appreciate you views. I ended it at 200K words, but readers may not care for the turn it takes. We'll see.

I believe you need to spell out 4400 acres since it comes at the beginning of a sentence.
I may have been lost through some of this because I wasn't with the story from the beginning, but I certainly understand Ben's new mission and those who would be his allies.
Your faith shines through with these chapters, Wayne.

Thank you. I really appreciate you views and comments.
I was at a loss of the 4400.

Put a word or two in front of 4400 and that will fix it:-)

This is another excellent chapter. I see how you wound PaladÃ?Ân into the story. Ben is involved in San Francisco's politics. I do not see any room for improvement. Have a blessed day.

Thank you for your very nice review.

Thanks for sharing another outstanding chapter and letting me sit in on Ben, Henry, and Juana's conversations. Now you have me thinking about what happens with all of those 4,400 acres next. Great writing.

Ben's reputation seems to go before him. Things that have happened to him in the past has made the news. Now he finds out it wasn't an accident that he was drugged and put on that ship. Everyone seems to have a lot of respect for him.

Thank you for your very kind review.
I would like to be Ben, but I'm afraid I don't have what it takes. Maybe that what adventure writing is, projecting.

Ben is very much like a private detective, seeking out corruption wherever he goes, even among the police. So he meets another famous person in his investigating--Juana Briones. I'm curious, how do you know about these famous people he meets such as Juana Briones, and that baseball player in Chicago? I love the way you weave them into your story.

Thank you. Research is fun. Some I learned in history, of course. Other people and events in historical fiction that I then researched. But I have to confess, Stuart Kamisky showed me the the tricks in his excellent novels.

I'm a big confused about Clay (I don't know American tv so got a bit lost as to his real character). Other than that I enjoyed the read and pleased to see that Ben continues to follow what he believes to be God's will without compromise. Well done.

Thank you.
You missed a great show, now iconic. I should have put the show tune (song) up. More would have recognized it. "Have Gun Will Travel Reads the Card of a Man"

So, Ben has moved on to learning more about the police in San Fran. Are Hallick or Juana real people? Or just your characters? Cleaning up the police force in any town is very difficult and dangerous.

Juana is real. Halleck is representative of a real person.
Thank you for your review.

It's so sad when you hear of someone dying just after you've met them, in some ways, it seems so unfair. I noticed that Ben makes mistakes like anyone else, but God doesn't call us because we're imperfect, but that we can be used as a conduit for Him, beautifully written Wayne, blessings Roy

Thank you. I made a real effort toward keeping Ben a character readers could identify with.
