Hi Sharon,
This is a wonderfully rhymed piece of advice to children and adults about following their dreams. You can always find someone to help you attain them if you are willing to do the work needed. There are times though that you realize you don't have the talent to attain the dream and it is better to drop it and find a new one to replace it.
Keep writing and stay healthy.

A fun and entertaining piece of children's verse. You have just the right tone of voice and the rhymes are successful. I think some of the metre is off a bit in some lines but I'm not an expert. Still, I'm sure you'll do well in the competition.

This is outstanding! I shared with my twin granddaughters, who just started 6th grade in a new school, your complete verse and artwork.

I challenged them to use as a motto your last two lines!

THANK YOU for your post for someone who rarely if ever reviews longer poems than my typical 5-7-5. FanStory friends do often get my read even if I don't rate their effort.
