I like your disaster poem for the club challenge - Excellent picture presentation - good syllable count - good flow. Good story about current events - Glad storm is not effecting you! My Daughter and family are there too - fingers crossed. Dreams float away -Nice Good Job _AP

Excellent alliteration in the first line to increase the threatening mood. The font adds to the feeling that waves are going to make things float away. I felt a bit woozy reading it. Poor couple.

Hi Gypsy, a poem of truth. How many first homes are/have been destroyed. How many forever homes have been destroyed. Your poem reads and flows well. Your message is clear. Of special note:

dreams float away

This is a heartbreaking thought, but your words are put together beautifully. Our daughter and her husband are visiting in LA, safe so far. I'm ready for them to be home!
