Ciao poet, I gave you your 2nd vote.
Since I was a child (and a tomboy) I have always loved frogs.
In my first boarding school, I was age 6 and 1/2 there was a creek passing through the premises and I would go catch tadpoles in the creek in our free time even if it was not allowed.
I'd build a secluded angle and put them in there and watch them grow over the weeks.
I love their bright hues and when the males call for a mate.
The French like to eat frogs' legs I prefer to see and hear them in their habitat.

I only ate frog legs once - once was enough for sure! I am all for hearing rather than tasting.

I don't really understand how the first poem has actually 10 votes.
It is a pleasant read but in all honesty,
I don't feel it is worthy of the red ribbon.
Go figure.

Thank you for defining "nutha" from the Urban dictionary. To me it brought realism to your 2-5-2 poem.

People often say I'm a "nutha". Only they pronounce it wrong and leave off those last two letters. Anyhow, this entry should jump out at the judge. It is warts several accolades!
