Demonic Angels

I have so many stories/poems to catch up with I am sorry I missed this gem. A perfect photo to your story of how sweet little angels can turn to demons on a dime and then reclaim their halos.
As usual, creative and humor-filled.
Best wishes,
Mary

I have 62 messages in my review box. Some poets submit 3 or 4 a day. I feel like I am shoveling against the tide. I also do not want to ignore new FS submissions. I am surprised I miss yours because as soon as I see it, I read. I am also taking walks with Harvey each day.
Plus household stuff

Can they post 3-4 a day. I know it seems that way but by mistake I tried a third way back when and the application said: no-no-no. Should that be in quotes if the message was by A.I.?

This was a great story that brought the demonic powers to play in the misbehaving children. The solution of the invocation of the Holy Spirit works to bring calm.

Not so, Bill. Here is the captured line for this contest: Write a flash fiction story, any genre, which has 500 words or less."
That's OK. Heck, I didn't remember this was a contest until your remark.

I was really angry until someone sang to me and tickled my chin with a pussywillow. Anyhow, thanks for this piece which is very believable and the lovely photo. My prediction is: this is a winner!

The photo is perfect and so is your story. I was immediately pulled in to read all of it. Oh so so clever... I really enjoyed the read...
I wish you the very best of luck in the 500 word fast fiction.

Excellent and deserving of a six but sadly I have none! I love your style of writing and how so much vivid description and reference are contained in this very concise prose form. The scenes just jump out of the screen. A very talented write. Thanks for sharing and good luck! Debbie

Well, okay. That makes two that like what I do. The other, beside you, would be me, for I see what many overlook for my being a kook and writing what I please to please me, and now you. Have fabulouso day, dear fan.
Oh, Thanks.

That's a scary story, I don't know I never liked that movie:)but you manage to transform into something [ositivee:" spare no words in conveying where moments ago, two virtuous angels stood, were a pair of "Rosemary Babies" glowering at an uninvited guest. All innocence was swallowed as if the gates of hell gaped open.
Then, when all seemed lost, the organist played "Peace Be Still." Immediately, the anger calmed like the stormy sea beneath the Savior's feet. All fear dissipated, as the apostles did, as the once-possessed infants seemingly sprouted wings to fly into mama's loving arms bringing harmony where dissension reigned." Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.

Yes, you pretty much described every child that I have ever had the misfortune to come into contact with. Ha!!!
I loved all the various references in this entertaining piece. Very nicely done and enjoyable. Good luck in your literary engagement Flash Fiction contest.

I enjoyed this story a lot. Very creative and quite fun.
Music always calms the most libertine souls, bringing them peace and harmony.
I liked the description, pace and fluidity that the story produces.
An enjoyable read.
Good luck with the contest.
