The mountain and field do have vivid colored wildflowers. I am positive God has His hand in those gorgeous colors. Much like He has His hand in your beautiful poetic talent.

still a great tanka - love the satori about icy winds freezing!
the alliteration worked and flowed well

you have to love a poem that reflects resilience.
It so funny... well, not funny, rather, connected. The beautiful poetry I have had the pleasure of reading from you today have had the colour purple, now mauve, just as the colour of the skies here in my patch of paradise tonight on the change over from day to night... and yes, before you ask I said a very good evening to Queen Venus as she came up after the new moon as the first to illuminate my sky. It was such a beautiful sunset... although it's a bit worrying that, it's still winter and there are fires off in the distance along a ridge to the west. Not a good sign for the land down under for Summer.
May nature continue to paint her vivid vibrant strokes of hue, tint and tone.
Love the alliteration!
Such a vibrant-colourful presentation... beautiful!

I like your tanka poem- nice picture presentation- good syllable count - good connection between lines - like a single sentence- good flow - paints clear pic- morning dew-standing on a mount peak in the icy wind -looking down at the wild flower- Good Job - AP

Another beautiful poem. I like this one because it made me think of painting. Some strokes with the brush leave bold passes of color where other spots are stippled with small dots of color. Beautifully written. Gretchen

So cool! And like your other poem about the cherry blossoms blooming despite times of hardship, Nature paints flowers despite the icy winds. Great use of alliteration and personification in your colorful presentation!
