That's true a thief can't take the moon way with him/her. Thank you for sharing this poem and presentation with us. I enjoyed reading, as I always do your beautiful work.

I like your zen Haiku- nice picture presentation- flows very well - theme - the thief - leaving behind the most valuable- none tangible, unable to rob one of their intangible ability to love ( unless they choose to wallow in self pity and anger before ultimately releasing what binds - to love again- moon - represent Ming to me - most precious- love
Zen - good job AP

This was a good case study of an optimist. The fact that it is implied there was a robbery and the optimistic view that there is still a beautiful view. Joy can't be stolen. Gretchen

nice zen haiku
robbed yet not of everything lol
how about...
the thief left behind
a most precious possession --
window full of moon
just a thought ;)
the flow was a little trippy
but then that could be just me lol
thank you for sharing
shelley :)

When you decide to write notes at the bottom, you really get serious. I don't know if I should comment on them or the poem itself! Anyhow, your message resonated in a wonderful SATORI! (see, I read it!) Next time I look out my meager window at the moon, I'll think of you and this work!

Wow, what a perfect image I just felt like looking into the moon sacred soul. Thank you for the notes, your haiku are little ornaments attached on the infinity line.

Well, when put that way, material possessions seem trite. The thief may take things, but Nature gives us such beauty that can never be taken from us.
This poem evokes a wonderful feeling of contentment.
