I love how you dove tailed the my friend in your poem. It brought it full circle and helped the poem feel complete. You created a feeling of life's beauty with a friend.

This is a simple straight forward poem that, nevertheless, describes the beauty of nature well. I like the repetition of the first line at the end and your use of the different senses. I just think that you could have made it a little more detail, ie which scents, which hues, other than green, etc.
