This was a wonderful wabi-sabi poem or rather a tanka, Gypsy. The picture was wonderful- of an elderly woman in the rain proving that her wrinkled face was one of beauty. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

Ahhhh. (I sigh). How lovely this is Gypsy. It functions brilliantly even without a picture. I briefly imagined the rain was rejuvenating her. Not on the outside, but inside. I thoroughly enjoyed this.

Yes, I tend to believe elderly women are beautiful. The life journey they traveled etched on their faces and the wisdom they learned while on this journey. They'd share if with us if we took time to listen. I enjoyed reading your club entry. Thank you.

I love how you focus on the soft beauty of some elderly. Some have been carved by anger but generally, you can tell the difference. This was a lovely tribute to the beauty, strength and wisdom of age. Gretchen

You are so right on for this Wabi-sabi peom. Yes. She has wrinkles but her life was and is still beautiful because the rain and the moon have made her even more beautiful.

Another great Wabi-Sabi poem. We can't avoid aging but we can show others that life of beauty still is visible in the wrinkles, especially to the discerning observer.

I have no six stars to give or I would give them to you quite willingly. Excellent blending of picture and poem. Read your tutorial and, my goodness, I thought some of our poetry protocols were strict! I am not yet ready. I did one haiku, and it took quite a while to get it right. Magnificent work.

See, I love limericks, not the nasty kind everyone knows from a drunk Irish Man. i write as easy as pie. I write constantly. I am in constant pain 24/7, and writing distracts me big time.
