This is so me with the issue of being left-handed. I am sure many other left-handers will identify with what you're saying. I did not go to kindergarten so when I went to first grade I had never learned anything about printing my name. When we were supposed to get up at the board and write our name, I printed every one of my letters backwards. The teacher was concerned because I was reading the book from the back part to the front. And I wrote on the page beginning at the right and going to the left. Now any left hander would know why I was always getting comments that my pages were smudged. We drag our hand through everything we write. This was a bit of a tribute to left-handers.

I'm sorry that your eyesight doesn't allow you to do what you had done
so well. The bedspread is just a
wonderful example of your talent...It is so beautiful...One can never take
away from you the talent that won the award. One of my sisters loved to knit and crochet, I tried, but could never get my fingers to do the right thing...I certainly wish you well, Pat, may you
find joy in whatever
you can do...I sincerely enjoyed reading you story...God Bless You!

Warmly,
Victoria

That bedspread is just stunning. You should be proud of this exquisite work.
I am sorry that you cannot knit anymore, at least, we still have your writing talent to read.
Best wishes,
Mary

The bedspread is beautiful. My mother loved to knit. I don't have that kind of patience. You are right about the quote. Thing that seem difficul really aren't once you learn how to do them.

Pat, your story is bitter/sweet. Bitter because you were ill. Sweet because of the beautiful bedspread you produced. I think it might be too pretty to be on a bed. Maybe, framed on a wall. I also like the pillow covers. Very well written. Terry.

Hello Patricia :)

Your bedspread is absolutely stunning and the fringed edging finishes it off beautifully. Congratulations on your awards. I bet you knitted the gorgeous pillow slips too.

I never managed to knit anything more challenging that a scarf or a simple blanket, using just plain knit and perl stitches.

I'm sorry you're unable to knit these days. You must miss it very much.

Best wishes, Debra :)

Patricia, That is a really beautiful bedspread you knitted. You did an amazing job on it also. I have always wanted to knit and crochet. My grandmother did those things and if I had been wise I would have taken the time to watch her do it. I always wanted to make quilts too! Thank you for sharing. love and blessings, Teri
