This was a great free verse, Gypsy. I liked the picture of the young lady standing in the sea on the rock with the gulls close by. I love your words they totally made sense. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

The sea can be unpredictable and so are the winds. I like that you show us the shocking difference between the "soft breeze" with its "tender tide" contrasting with the moody sea winds with its tsunami waves!

Speaking as someone who loves the ocean, the waves, and the sensual feeling the beach invokes in me. It's renewing to the soul, refreshing to the spirit, and calming to the body. This poem gives me that feeling.
