I think this was a very challenging proposition, to write a love poem without using any of the obvious words. A very nice metaphor, and you spun it out very skilfully.

This love poem, Sail On, presented with five ABCB-rhymed quatrains, gives an example of one's ship coming in and then leaving on the tide to cross a great divide from what was and what is now. Nice.

This was a very moving love poem and you avoided the..I cant say the words..I certainly hope at least some of this is biographical, as it seems the character involved has found a wonderful true love, and your words show that you are worthy of the same.

Excellent romantic entry for the Love Poem writing prompt contest. I can relate. I love your words imagery.

The rhymes and meter are not forced and the poem flows well.

the structure makes sense, it draws on emotions and it presents strong images.
