Yes, in a world full of pain life continues and does beauty. I feel we need to be conscious of the pain so we can make sure we don't contribute to it, but we must also move on. I'm not sure I said that correctly, but I hope you understand. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Gypsy, liked the two pictures of the iris, not sure what "field of irises" has to do with a "world of pain," but you say a lot in your haikus, and you pick good colors. Dove

Flowers are a wonderful thing. From breaking through the ground and growing steadfast and tall. Flowers have the opportunity to make people smile and laugh ( like the rose squirting water).
Great haiku.
Cheers,
John

It's very true. Even in the midst of war and chaos, beauty can still be found. A dandelion growing in a crack in the pavement, shows that beauty of nature cannot be stifled. This was a sobering poem. Gretchen

Hi MariVal,
pain is only the symptom of the actuality of the cause, yet love still shines through in a bloom of regenerated growth.
I love flowers, all kinds of. I do especially like the ones that are perfumed... spraying colours and joy in my heart... and the ones medicinal... ah, yeah, and the ones you can eat... even the flowers enhancing what we call weeds. How lucky are we all the flowers and colour exist?
I really like the way you use you first two lines to express the existence of hope in a world of confusion.
Beautiful Gypsy Queen!
With our thoughts we create...
a path to freedom.
Warm regards,
James.

There's something soothing about flowers, and many can grow in all kinds of soil like the irises and lilies that grow in the wild. That's probably why flowers are so lovely to send to cheer someone up.
