I remember that every time someone is not agreeing with something, that thing ends up on the pyre: books, witches, masks, artifacts, etc.

I remember that every time someone is not agreeing with something, that thing ends up on the pyre: books, witches, masks, artifacts, etc.

thanks that was based on a true story I read at the height of the COVID pandemic anti-mask vigilantes did stage such events. Sadly, or perhaps poetic justice, many of them got CCOVID.

An excellent entry to this competition and should earn you top spot. Having my wife die of covid brought this home to me. Also, when she was alive, on the way home from church, there was a seller of "Trump masks" that we passed, so we purchased one and a sign for an outrageous amount. When we got home, we found out they were made in China!

sad to hear of your loss. We had COVID last spring after a trip to Australia. I was fully vaccinated, my wife only received one shot as she had a bad reaction to the vaccination.

My wife made sure I and our daughter had all the shots (she, too )but it didn't help her any. And to add to that, at first I couldn't even get into an assisted living facility because I got covid!
