Your words painted the feelings one has when a love has moved on to another. I felt that pain through your work and appreciated your notes. You could've made this more darker and unforgiving, but through it all, displayed a relatively positive attitude.

This was a fantastic free verse, Gypsy. The dual pictures were priceless. Your words showed a degree of sadness because you were departing from him. But you had to be strong. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

It is horrible when a lost love moves one, but I am pretty sure the same thing will happen to with the person he moved on with. As I've said before a tiger doesn't change his stripes. Your poem is beautifully written, and the package is perfect.

What a sad, sad poem, Gypsy. You envy nature for their ability to do what you wish so desperately to do. But he's moved on, and you will never be able to do any of those things again. So sad. I hope it's not biographical. Well done, it was a sad, but pleasurable poem. :) Sandra xx

That is so sad. At first, I thought the envy was of the rain, night, and wind because they were temporarily parted but it seems he has "moved on" and narrator would have to continue missing her loved one.

Another fine poem, Gypsy----I find that as much as you want to be adult about the her or him moving on and wish them well, jealousy and loss make it extremely difficult

I can remember being heartbroken at the loss of one particular girl I was deeply in love with, so I can remember those terrible feelings of loss, but no so poetically as this, brilliantly done Gypsy, blessings Roy
