Funny how times change. I used to walk by mirrors admiring that handsome devil I'd see. Now, I avoid any glance of disappointment. But "the frosting on the cake," so to speak, is that I'm a lot nicer person these days. LOL.

I like how you started the story with a question and the reference to being the evil twin of Snow White. I like the path the narrator takes through how she is feeling at the beginning and how she is feeling at the end, when she is granted the wish she has been asking for only to realize she doesn't want it.

This is a very well expressed story with excellent descriptive detail, dialogue and pace. The main character is very likable (always a good thing) and the message of being true to oneself is a very commendable one. Well done for containing this in a well measured story form (some get a bit carried away!) Well done and good luck (my favourite) Debbie

A very interesting entry in the "Mirror" competition. It should do quite well!
I hope someday that woman gazing in the mirror will find the love of her life. I am sure that woman does have external and internal beauty, even if she won't admit it.
