Beautiful piece. I love the reds and yellows. You really have a way with words. One of my favorite moments in lie was watching a sunset off of Maui. There is really no place quite like that. Congrats and reaching 3500 pieces my friend. Just wanted to celebrate by reviewing your works!

The thought of a ruby sunset is a perfect description. I enjoyed reading this Haiku. It's beautiful as is the package it comes with. Once again, you've proven to b the Queen of Haiku.

Ruby,
Your photo is beautiful, yet haunting.
Your words paint a picture of the sunset as guardian, friend, and source of comfort as it whispers, 'goodnight to you.
Your presentation is excellent.
Good luck, Gypsy.
Blessings,
Cindy.

I loved this haiku with the personifications of the sunset and the wind and the alliteration in the last line. You have a gift for leaving a good feeling with the reader.

Gypsy,
The words expressed are most descriptive. Each line evokes an experience that can be easily sensed.

P.S. It appears to my eye that the font size in your first line is not the same as the ones that follow - intentional or not?

I like that the sunset became a nurturing entity. It became mother and nurse maid. Very personable and a character in this poem. The imagery was sharp and vivid. Great poem. Gretchen

Hi MariVal,
I can't split my love between sunset and sunrise... they both hold my heart within a held breath, a pause and then a sigh. To give gratitude for another precious day upon this physical plain at the going down of a ruby sunset is a glorious thought. It does tuck you in at the end of day, as the wind gently picks up across the bay, caresses your senses, and whispers goodnight into your ears. Its there we know that we are loved by a greater force... for the beauty allowed us, is, and can only be the love of our Creator.
A truly stunning presentation with the composition to match... a haiku that seeps into ones soul.
With our thoughts we create...
the grace of beauty.
Warm regards,
James.
