Nice finish in the 100 word prompt. Tell me, does she die and find Jesus' embrace? I need to get back into reading more of your fine works. I have been a bit negligent.

    In my mind, she dies from the blows to her body. She had already accepted Jesu, and in the end, she finds herself in his arms. You are so busy enjoying life, and yet you have time to write. You amaze me.

Hmmm. This is one of those "Be careful what you wish for" stories, isn't it? Though maybe death is preferable to that kind of tortured life. Well done, Mystery Writer. A very memorable story. Good luck in the contest.

A skilfully contained study of abuse in this limited word form. Your story is inspired by faith which in the end is the beginning of her salvation from life's awful reality. Well done and good luck! Debbie

Oh my goodness this is a chilling write as domestic abuse turns into murder in this clever and heart-rendering flash fiction. Perhaps she should have packed her bags a long time ago and she would have peace without dying, love Dolly x
