Hi Barbara, I certainly agree with you that love can go a long way to heal most wounds. But humanity has never been able to manage that. I can't see how religion can help with all that. Man even kill each other for one religion or other. A Cynical view? Maybe. But it's the sad reality. Ulla:)

This is a strong list of what to hope for: "The reason I have made this my most important hope for the future is because, world peace, poverty/starvation/no fresh water, disease/sanitation issues, gender inequality, slavery/human trafficking, are just a few that could be solved if we loved one another." this is so true: "The hardest to love are the ones who need it the most." I used to puzzle to my therapist why there were students who were so hard to like. He said they unconsciously make themselves unlikable because of their social fear.

Teach them what love is and who love is. God is love not of fleshly feeling but spiritual toward His love for all. Some kids get love wrong and follow lust and Self desires than knowing if they are in Christ then love puts on a whole different meaning. Sending you blessing and prayers for your mission to be successful.

The fallen are hard to live, hold onto, approach. Like hugging a porcupine.
