I really love this! It is so precious and the art work you chose was perfect to go with your words. You used great descriptive words that came from your great big heart! Best wishes in the contest. Teri

Thank you so much Teri. For your words and stars.

Only Jesus was entitled to address God as Abba Father, because of His perfection, and that He is the embodiment of the Godhead, slain before the foundation of the world. But now because of the blood sacrifice, so can we now. Beautifully written. Good luck, blessings Roy
Typo : Dear ab(b)a Father

Thank you so much for your encouragement. Aba is spelt with one b in transliterated Hebrew In English it is with 2 so both are correct. I am a Hebrew speaker so I don't use double letters.

Dear fellow writer,
What a lovely idea, to have this beautiful dog (Himalayan -Labrador cross?) in conversation with Jesus. Just as He is co-creator with the Father, so He also sustains and loves all that He has made. The Gospels make it clear that He was surrounded by animals at His birth, and chose a donkey to make His messianic entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday - so, of course, such a faithful sheepdog would be welcome in His Kingdom, since He is the Good Shepherd.
I sense in your 'letter' that this dog is nearing the end of his useful life. He will surely not be turned away by the Master, after so much service and so much love.
A beautiful idea for a 'Letter to the Shepherd'. Thank you.
Paul
