The twist at the end I didn't see coming. I like how you lead the reader to think the story is headed in one direction and then it ends in a different direction.

Nice write, great ending.

I have a lot of experience in dealing with organophosphate poisonings, unfortunately. A teaspoon will not kill someone and not that quickly. In saying that, most people would not know this and it makes for an exciting read with a great twist at the end. JT

I was hoping most won't catch on . I heard that systemic reactions can kill eventually. Don't tell anyone. Hahaha

Organophosphate poisoning does kill if not attended to in a timely fashion. I recently worked in Dharan, the East Terai of Nepal. I am an emergency physician and international disaster medicine doc. This was a very common form of suicide in young women there.

Your secret is safe with me. I did enjoy your story. I know lots of ways to kill without leaving a trace. Let me know if you're ever in need of that knowledge. I'm just joking. This Aussie doctor's sense of humour gets me through a lot of rough moments.

Great story and the twist at the end was perfect. Jacqueline

Haha. I am in a good place right now. I have just been offered 2 contracts to publish my debut novel. I am now working on my second, a thriller set in the Australian outback about a female serial killer who leaves no trace when she kills her victims. Good to know toxicology. It's my favourite topic. Have a great day. Jacqueline

That is fantastic. I love serial killer stories. Why do we, in the health professions have a fascination for that? I like the psychology of it. I'm not a poison expert. Mine is psychiatry.

Emergency medicine and international disaster medicine. Trained also in toxicology and tropical medicine. Saw a lot of OP poisoning in Dharan, Nepal when I went to set up a post grad diploma in EM. Psychiatry. Cool. My SIL and BIL are both psychiatrists in London. Ah, the morbid fascinations we love!

Another reply, sorry. After gaining my fellowship I decided to work as a psych registrar for 6/12. I really wanted to see what it was all.about. You must have so much material. Have you or are you writing a book?

I am writing a book which uses the main theme of reconciliation among 6 characters and I am using personality types to flesh out the characters. The backstories are also from real life situations.
