It doesn't sound as if this guy poetic pick-up line is going to work with this lady. It is funny when she offers to show her teeth. It sounds like she implying he is acting like he trying to buy a horse.

He sounded like a liar and a cheat with some arrogance
thrown in, Iza. He had a lot of nerve. I'm glad you told
him off. Some people won't take no for an answer and you
end up causing a scene and/pr being rude.

This is a fun story consisting mostly of dialogue between two people. The words are beautifully musical and it's quite apparent how the writer likes to play with words and their sounds, at the same time conveying a message of the ring's symbolic meaning of ownership and its abuse. LOL, He could be a smoothie, alright. All you have to do is throw him in a blender to take out his lumps. This is fun. I can not imagine what it would be like to be dating or try to be in the dating scene these days. I will remain happily single. Well done, Terry.

The dialogue is humorous and realistic about a presumptuous guy with a ridiculous way of approaching women. Ringy, dingy, and fingy would be a turn off for many women. However, I can see a guy thinking he was cute using the words. I'm glad the lady in the story called him "Mr. Trinket," and walked away.

I thought this had plenty of personality and humor in the creation of this little scene between the would be lover, and the lady trying to evade being tied down. I like how you parry his jabs here, with wit and humor. And you seem to speak from experience, once bitten twice shy. estory

I read this because of the cat picture, and it wasn't a cat story! Or was it?

Very funny dialogue:-) I would suggest that you edit it one more time for punctuation and some off-the-mark quotation marks.

Thanks for sharing - I'll make sure I wear my ringy-dingy on my fingy when I go out!
