Third in a series is quite sad in the beginning.

I just love these. Your cute names really pull the story together. If my kids were a tad younger I'd read them these at night.

One suggestion:
Bea often had a limp similar to Billie bear her old time friend who befriended him.
(Comma after bear and comma after friend)

These are fun. If I may be so bold as to offer a compliment? You are damn good.

Thank you for your supportive review. I'm glad for the proof reading, less I have to do before this gets published like the first 2 on Amazon.

It's hard to watch a close one going through uncertain times, and Sam is acting like a brat. Maybe somebody who is living outside his household, could bring some reasoning into his behavior. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the next chapter.

Thank you for your involved review.. Actually, in real life after about 5 years he's settling down and we're getting in to a routine. I still miss Sweet Puppy. I swear Scruffles helps me with Sammy. Scruffles was a feral Maine Coons too. They are the real life characters I included in my books, you may have followed on here.

What I really enjoyed most about this post was the ways you showed emotion through body language such as "slump in the shoulders" and even the personification of the swallow being choked in the throat and the "branch with great heaviness on her shoulders was finally lifted."

That's wonderful how we see Bea mature and putting into practice the wisdom from her mom and from Willow. As a result, she overcame fears and distrust and made good friends who will help her in life.

Definitely a great continuation chapter, Liz. You definitely painted a fantastic picture of Willow, Bea, Athena and Sammy. All Bea had to remember was Athena would be a good and wise friend. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessings n Hugs!!!

An excellent post Liz. I don't know whether I would invite a bobcat to come and live with me, having taken in many strays over the years, with the exception of bobcats, it is quite a rewarding thing, beautifully written Liz, it really appeals to me, well done, blessings Roy

Thank you for sharing this with us. It's an excellent write.

He had to begin learning to be an adult with acceptable characteristics for survival, one being using his words. (So hard, but so necessary.)

Willow guided Bea to change the words in her heart from I can't solve this to, can I solve this?, to a resolve, I can solve this. (So important!)

As we know Bea has one concern whenever she invites anyone to live with her. (comma needed after 'know,')

Your lovely story to children continues with this theme of help and guidance for Sammy who has been acting up and concerning Bea with his destructive behaviour. She knows she can't manage him by herself and seeks advice from Willow who then introduces her to Athena. This gives Bea comfort and sends a message at the same time to children that we need each other in times of trouble. Thanks for sharing. Debbie

This needing each other was featured the first book. Bea learned that is what being wee is all about.

Sweet and appropriate language and narrative here that touches on important themes of love and friendships, whilst maintaining the fantasy element thoroughly successfully.
