This poem is heartbreaking to read, but rest assured God forgives us, even when we fail to forgive ourselves. he is always with us. This emotional poem was very well written. Thank you for sharing.

This felt like a mother's love in this. He may not have been your son but the feeling a wanting to save someone from a terrible past or an ordeal rings through. This was empathetic and warm. Feeling the pain of others and letting them see that. Beautiful work, Regina. Gretchen

This poem, All Those Years Ago, reminds the one to whom you speak that the horrors of the past are dissolved into nothingness and covered by the blood of the Savior.
