Very odd situation which makes for a great story. Some catches:
"But Mr. McNamara is here to help us and, unless he knows why, he wouldn't.
The old man thought this over and decided, "Ok, tell him but not the location."
(Period not comma after the word decided as there is no speech tag)
Having no other business the Turkish side, I returned to the Embassy. (Missing a word)
I had an idea; but I wanted to check I with Dogan. (Check it?)
