What a fantastic haiku, Gypsy. The dual pictures of the waves and the flowers. Your words showed that despite the wave and the painful memories. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

Life can be moving along smoothly and suddenly, like a raging wave, something from our past can hit us and take our breath away. Your wisdom shines through, perfectly here. You understand life.

I like your haiku poem - excellent picture presentation of the wave curling- good syllable count- good notes tying the poem and picture together- memory rapture sounds a lot like PTSD - subconscious memories triggered by stimuli occurring in the waking state - without any discernible relationships between it/them and the underlying trauma- crazy making! Good Job AP

i feel this one - excellent description of raging waves of bad memories!

Beautiful picture! I like that quote, too, but he seems to think those memories are liberating. But painful memories like the "rageful waves" in the poem, are imprisoning. Surfing those waves could be dangerous.
