Hi Lisa,
This nonet reminds us of the power of prayer in personal and worldly bad times. Faith gives strength to get through to the other side.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Congrats on placing second in the contest.
Have a great day and weekend.

Great job with your rhyming nonet poem with the spiritual message of the remedy to life's troubles in faithful prayer. Beautiful nonet shape, too, which means you had to consider the font and length of each word more than just the syllable count. Best wishes in the contest!

I love the message you are sending to the reader. You say I know things have gone awry, but there is more out there if you sit calm and give yourself over.

This nonet, Your Greatest Strength, has the proper formatting and reminds those who know that the power of prayer is undeniable and available to all at any time and everywhere.

Hi Lisa,
A lot of people worry instead of praying. Worry does no good. It causes high blood pressure, and migraine headaches. The Bible says, "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
I enjoyed your rhyming nonet. You tell these verses from Philippians in your own way,
"Faith can be your greatest strength.
Don't keep it at arm's length;
put hope in your heart.
Make a fresh start.
This is how:
just pray
now."
Nicely penned! Good Luck in the contest!
Hugs,
Kimbob

A perfect syllable count for your nonet, but the added rhyme is really nice and makes this gentle message a delight to read. A good entry for the contest. Best of luck.

A perfectly shaped Nonet, with a meaningful theme. Well done for including smooth rhyme and flow as well. Your first lines with the two questions hook the reader, for I think most of us feel that that is so. Best wishes for the contest.
