Ooh. One of the best I've seen - although not a patch on my selection, obviously. Love the story and this reads so well. You'll obviously be disqualified for your final rhyme though. Lol. Well done and thank you for sharing this.

    I don?t know what this line means in English:

    although not a patch on my selection, obviously.

    I have seen some disputable rhymes pass in this format,
    so I hope I get through too.

    If given the option to edit I will decline, though.

    My UK phrase means your attempt is not nearly as good as the ones I wrote this morning. On my profile as 'Bloody Writing Prompts'. Obviously this was said in jest.

    Oh I see .. I have learnt a new English saying. 😐
    And No offence taking , dry British humour , right?

    I am aware the poem is poor but
    in all honesty, I just wanted to share the amazing videos of those breathtaking waves 🌊 with others? the poem
    was consequential? I had to find words that rhymed with wave.

Well, that is some wave! Beats Hokusai hands down! So, first off - great illustration. I always think 1-6-1 is really difficult, but you have achieved a really good poem in such a short space. I'm relieved that your surfer survived. Sorry I didn't watch the videos - I was scared enough by the photograph!

    It s a shame you didn?t watch the videos .. no one gets hurt.

    The second video shows the Guinness record holder , a German surfer ride a 86 feet wave. It?s breathtaking.

    brave ,
    wave ,
    saved .

    I have seen debatable rhymes pass in this format before, so fingers crossed. I definitely won?t edit.
